Patch Application Instructions

CashierPRO is always being updated with suggestions from you. To take advantage of the latest developments, keep your system up to date with the following patches. You must apply the same patches to each machine in your system. First determine what version and release of CashierPRO you are currently using, then apply the next applicable patch. You can find which version you are using by selecting "About" in the "Help" menu of CashierPRO Back Office.

Download the patches to a portable USB Drive

Make sure all computers are out of CashierPRO.
Perform a CashierPRO Backup
Stop Procontrol

On each computer including the server do the following:

Insert the USB Drive. A window should open showing you the downloaded patch.

Double-click on the patch you want to apply.
When prompted, click Next (3 times).
When the Patch is installed, Click Finish.

Start Procontrol on the server and test each machine.

This patch corrects several small issues and should be installed in by all stores.
Since this is a Mini Patch, it can be installed anytime. Procontrol must be running during the install.
This patch also installs a Pesticide Note for specific products for Ontario Home Hardware Stores.

Home Hardware Promotion Price Fix - 09/26/2011 PromoFix.exe 467KB

This patch corrects an Issue with Promotion Price. Since Home Hardware is now putting promotion prices on ALL checklists, not just the ones the store is participating in, this patch will clear the promotion prices for the checklists that the store is NOT participating in.
This patch is applicable to Home Hardware Stores Only.
This patch needs only to be run on the CashierPRO/RegisterPRO Main Server.
This patch can be run during store hours as it requires the databases to be running.
Your CashierPRO/RegisterPRO Version must be 3.1, Release 9c or 9d, or Version 4.0. If you are on an older release, please contact CashierPRO Support immediately.
